closet makeover

I am mere minutes (mm, hours and days, really) away from winter break and one to-do on my list is to save the front hall closet. since we rent it is hard to commit to such ideas as wallpapering, however, how happy would we be every time we reached in to get a coat if any one of these closet ideas became our own reality?
